The 47-year-old, who took charge in 2022, remains under contract at Craven Park until 2028. The Chiefs are not due to enter the NRL until the 2028 campaign, but Peters is set to spend next year overseeing recruitment for the competition’s newest club, which will be based in Port Moresby.
