A fantastic match at the MetLife Stadium Fluminense produced a stirring second-half comeback to defeat Ulsan HD 4-2 in a thrilling encounter at MetLife Stadium, a result that ends the South Korean side’s hopes of progressing in the tournament. Author | Josh D Already beaten in their opener by Mamelodi Sundowns, Ulsan needed a result to stay in contention. Instead, they were undone by a dominant Fluminense display, with the Brazilian side scoring three goals after the break to secure all three points. Fluminense took control from the outset, monopolising possession as Ulsan sat deep and absorbed pressure. The breakthrough came in the 27th minute when Jhon Arias bent a free-kick into the top right corner from 24 yards, giving goalkeeper Jo Hyeonwoo little chance. It was the tournament’s third direct free-kick goal, adding Arias to a list that includes CF Pachuca’s Bryan Gonzalez and Lionel Messi of Inter Miami. Ulsan responded in dramatic fashion. Britpop nostalgia in Birmingham Pulp’s live return to Birmingham's Utilita Arena was nothing short of a triumph.  Author | Josh T Far from trading solely on nostalgia, the Sheffield band proved they remain a vital, creative force with something urgent to say.  Touring in support of their first new album in 27 years, More, they delivered a show that was sharp, theatrical and surprisingly poignant. The evening opened with the pounding intensity of "Spike Island", a new track that set the tone for a set that was both musically tight and emotionally charged. Rugby League | St Helens 18 - 4 Leeds Rhinos

Image
A comfortable home win for St Helens They capitalised on a disjointed Leeds Rhinos display to secure a well-earned Super League win at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Author | Oliver W Kyle Feldt kicked two early penalties to edge the hosts in front, before Deon Cross crossed just before the break to give Saints a deserved half-time lead. Leeds showed more purpose in the second half and gave themselves hope when Riley Lumb finished neatly in the corner, his 10th try of the campaign, after a searing break from Lachie Miller. But the visitors struggled to build any sustained pressure, undone by a series of handling errors in sweltering conditions. Further tries from Owen Dagnall and Tristan Sailor sealed the points for a depleted St Helens side. The Rhinos, who had won their previous five games, remain third on 20 points, while Saints sit two behind in fifth. The result also avenged last month's defeat at Headingley, where Leeds came out on top 17-4. From the outset, the visitor...
