Nightfall: Kingdom Frontier TD Review
It's time to explore a mobile phone game that has just been released...
With a simple but polished art style, Nightfall is a tower defence game where instead of just building turrets, you’ll also be maneuvering a hero around the map, attacking mobs, and rallying freshly spawned troops.
As is traditional for the genre, enemies come in waves, giving you time to build and shore up your arsenal in anticipation of the next onslaught. You can also spend gold on upgrading your HQ, defensive turrets, buildings that generate more income, and barracks to train soldiers.
We have found it quite an enjoyable but it does have its flaws.
Gamer reviews
Shaun Rowlands posted: "Awesome game I would really love to get into it but one major thing which is ridiculously frustrating is you never feel like you are able to upgrade enough because you don't get enough coin to start and the waves finish before you get to a satisfactory level.... Please please please either add either additional unlimited wave option or increase starting coins. This is such a nice game but with those limitations absolutely frustrating!"
Another gamer gave it a five star review: "Game is a fun movement shooter with basic basebuilding and tower defense elements. Ads are not overwhelming. I just wish there was a bit more flexibility in where you could place economy buildings."
Norris also posted: "I cannot praise this game enough. Simple but still challenging. This is a must play for sure. You should all download the game now. It perfects this kind of loot and equipment system, every negative aspect about other games with this system is fixed allowing for easy upgrades and the ability to easily switch builds without losing anything."
