FCSB 0 - 2 Manchester United
A good night in Romania for Manchester United
They have advanced to the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League after a 2-0 victory against FCSB on the eighth and final matchday of the competition's league phase.
Two goals scored in the span of eight minutes in the second half secured the win, with Diogo Dalot netting the first goal at Romania's National Arena on the hour mark.
Kobbie Mainoo, who provided the assist for Dalot's goal, scored the second goal shortly after, helping the team deliver a controlled performance in front of their traveling fans in Bucharest.
As a result, Ruben Amorim's side finishes third in the table and qualifies as one of the top eight teams that will skip the knockout round play-offs in February, going directly to the round of 16 in March.

Manchester United stepped up their game after the break in Romania, following a first half that was largely forgettable.
Manager Rúben Amorim had opted to rest Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho, but he brought them on at half-time, replacing left wing-back Tyrell Malacia and defensive midfielder Toby Collyer.
Just one minute and 20 seconds later, Garnacho struck the post after a defensive blunder gifted him a clear run at goal.
The introduction of Diallo and Garnacho injected fresh energy into United’s attack, with both playing out wide. Their presence helped open up space, allowing Bruno Fernandes to unleash a powerful long-range effort that crashed against the crossbar.
As United pushed forward through their wing-backs, FCSB’s defence began to unravel. A well-timed overlap from Diogo Dalot saw him perfectly placed to tap in Kobbie Mainoo’s cross in the 60th minute.
United’s second goal was another product of quality wide play, as Garnacho burst to the byline before delivering a pinpoint pass for teenager Mainoo to slot home.
There was also a return to action for Casemiro, who came on in the 72nd minute for his first United appearance since 30th December.
FCSB did have their moments, coming close when Daniel Birligea struck the crossbar shortly after United’s opener. Mihai Popescu also nearly converted Risto Radunovic’s wide free-kick in the first half.
However, those chances were few and far between. United always looked in control and, in a tournament where the winner secures a Champions League spot, remain the only unbeaten side.
