A screenshot circulating on social media suggests that the Gallagher brothers and company could be gearing up for round two next year.
According to reports, they have been offered five major shows at Knebworth in 2026, which would coincide with the 30th anniversary of their two record-breaking gigs at the same venue in 1996. Nothing has been confirmed yet, with the brothers said to be still considering their options.
The OasisLive25 shows have been a massive success with some actually surprised at how good Liam and Noel sounded.
How have these rumours started?
A source told a British media outlet: "The Oasis reunion hasn’t just been concerts. You can see that it’s been a cultural movement. Nothing comes close in recent history to Oasis’s shows."
While gearing up for set closer in London, he thanked Oasis fans for “keeping the faith” and said, “See you next year.” At this point, stories and theories went into overdrive.
Where could Oasis play in 2026?
If the latest leaks are to be believed, Oasis are set to kick off their much-anticipated reunion tour 2.0 at St James’ Park in Newcastle, before heading north for two nights at Glasgow’s Hampden Park and then five at the Etihad Stadium.
The most recent development suggests the band will bring the tour to a close with five huge shows at Knebworth. Insiders claim the Gallagher brothers hope to reclaim the attendance record from Robbie Williams, who drew 375,000 fans there in 2003.
The leaked schedule also includes several major European cities in June, with dates in Milan, Madrid, Amsterdam and Paris reportedly on the cards.
Of course, all of this could just be a load of nonsense. However, after such a memorable summer of music, fans are desperate for more. Here's hoping that the brothers will be back and the crowds which made these gigs so emotional will also return.
