Best quotes from people that attended the parade

Phillip has not missed a game for 18 years, and he gave an interesting perspective from the last few weeks. He told us: “What a season. They have not been at their best over the past six weeks, which I think is largely due to holding that league lead, but that is now behind them. This team has transformed almost overnight into a refreshed side, full of energy and with less pressure on their shoulders, and they have just shown that they are the best team in the league.”

Amanda Bradley, 52, has travelled from Chester. She said: "I have absolutely loved it. I have been crying. It is amazing."
