Starting the summer festival season in the right way Neighbourhood Weekender Festival in Warrington’s Victoria Park 

Becoming increasingly popular, masses of people travel to the park to hear their favourite alternative and indie rock artists. With several  different stages across the park, there’s something for everyone and this hits you straight away as you queue to have your ticket scanned. 

Let's explore some of the best moments. If you were in attendance, let us know what you thought of a slightly rainy Saturday.

James were a worthy headliner

Who doesn't love James? They're a fantastic live band who have fans across the generations. This environment at Neighbourhood is perfect for them and they proved this once again.

Sally told us: "There was some great bands throughout the day but James were just special. A fantastic day and evening."

Rebecca added: "A worthy headliner of a fantastic festival." This basically summed up the thoughts of many people leaving the park. 

The Royston Club 

If you weren't aware, The Royston Club are an indie band from Wrexham that have grown in popularity in recent years and have been regulars on the music festival scene. You can see some of the best bits from their sit in the video above. 

Amy W: "A band that have been on my "must see" list for a while and they didn't disappoint. 

The Snuts

The Snuts delivered a standout performace, reaffirming their status as one of the UK's most compelling live acts.

The vocals of the band's were powerful and emotive, drawing the crowd into the performance. The band's tight instrumentation and dynamic stage presence kept the energy levels high throughout the set. When the band reached their iconic "Glasgow" song, there was a simply wonderful atmosphere being created by the band and fans.
