The Snuts will return to the festival in 2026

Next year’s event will run from 19 to 21 June, moving two weeks earlier than its traditional July slot. It will mark the festival’s ninth edition since its launch in 2017.

Last year’s headliners included 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol.

Who else is heading to Glasgow in 2026?

Aside from the former Verve frontman’s headline slot, Friday’s line-up also features NewDad, returning after their debut at last year’s festival, alongside Liverpool singer-songwriter Luvcat, Reading rapper Songer, and emerging pop outfit Cliffords.

Kasabian will headline on Saturday, taking to the stage soon after the release of their ninth studio album Act III in the spring. They will be joined by London DJ Sonny Fodera, Scottish favourites The Snuts, rapper and poet Loyle Carner, and art-rock group The Last Dinner Party. The day’s bill also includes The Fratellis, Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, Clementine Douglas, Rose Gray, and Big Special.

Lewis Capaldi will close the weekend on Sunday, with performances from Amy Macdonald, CMAT, Two Door Cinema Club, former Little Mix singer Perrie, Scottish songwriter Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Red Rum Club, South Arcade, Overpass, and Westside Cowboy.

Previous memorable from the festival

In 2024, Gerry Cinnamon performed an incredible headline slot on the Saturday night. Josh was there and said: “Probably my favourite TRNSMT memory.”

Josh added: “In fact, that whole weekend was amazing. I saw Liam Gallagher twelve months before the Oasis reunion. Magical.”

The following year, it was the turn of Fontaines DC to bring their magic to Glasgow Green. Here, the band delivered a stunning hour-long performance, drawing heavily from their latest album. It was one of those TRNSMT sets that will live long in the memory.
